The Fantail Journey
Fantail is a Man-made fibre (MMF) company from Surat for Fashion Retail. We design and manufacture MMF based textiles for large enterprise fashion retail brands in India. Their expertise lies in building customized, captive supply chains for retail brands by leveraging the fragmented yet diverse ecosystem in surat for viscose, nylon and polyester textiles. They own and operate captive weaving & processing facilities in Surat.
We aim to build Fantail as the first B2B brand for Man-made Fibres (MMF) from Surat. I have worked with the Surat ecosystem for a decade and I believe we are at the cusp of transformation in this supply chain. If we solve for the operational hurdles in scale in a sustainable manner with a strong focus on capital efficiency, we can truly harness the power of this ecosystem.
